Itinerary

FULL DAY:Cusco - 4 Lagoons - Inca Bridge Queswachaka - rumiqolqa - Cusco.

Our Inca Queswachaka Bridge tour begins with the pick up of our clients from 05:00 am. Then, we will head south-west of Cusco. After almost two hours of travel, we will have a beautiful landscape of the four lagoons.
Laguna de Pomacanchi, Acopia, Asnaqocha and pampamarca or tungasuca. After enjoying a quiet moment in the lagoons, the next place we will visit will be the small volcano of pavilions that is located near the town of Yanaoca.
Finally, we will arrive at the Apurímac River and the impressive Puente Inca Queswachaca, this Inca suspension bridge is made of vegetable fiber (ichu) and is located over the Apurímac River in the Quehue district. The existence of this bridge dates from Inca times. Renovation and maintenance is done once a year by local people from the four surrounding communities.
We will have the opportunity to cross the Inca bridge. It seems easy, but we will need courage.
Without a doubt, you will feel a great emotion when crossing this bridge so much so that you will feel like Indiana Jones. On the way back to Cusco, we will visit the archaeological remains of Rumiqolqa, the constructions probably date from the time of the Tiahuanaco-huari civilization and were later lined with carved and polished stones in the time of the Incas.
Once the visit is finished, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at 6:00 p.m.
Finally, we culminate with our excursion to the Inca bridge Queswachaca in the Plaza San Francisco.
